ADMISSION NOTICE 2021
(FOR ADMISSION TO UG DEGREE PROGRAMS)
Online applications are invited from (i) residents/domicile of UT of Jammu and Kashmir. UT of Ladakh (ii) Residents of other States and union territories (iii) Foreign nationals and (iv) Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) – Non-resident Indian sponsored (NRI sponsored) candidates for admission to undergraduate degree programs in the following disciplines for the Academic Session-2021 through university website: www.skuastkashmir.ac.in
1. For residents/domicile J&K/Ladakh UTs category candidates:
The selection/admission under open merit/reserved categories and self-finance category seats, the candidates shall have to appear in the University Entrance Test-2021.
2. For other States and union territories/foreign nationals and NRI-NRIs category candidates:
The selection shall be made based on marks obtained at qualifying examination i.e., 10+2 (higher secondary part-II) or equivalent examination.
Details about University Entrance Test-2021, reservation of seats, fee details, counselling, and
selection/admission procedure etc. are indicated in the Information Brochure-2021 which shall be available on the university website www.skuastkashmir.ac.in from 03-07-2021. Additional information for candidates applying under the categories of other States and union territories/foreign nationals/NRI-NRIs is given in part-II of the Information Brochure-2021.

I. Candidates are advised to read the instructions given information brochure 2021 carefully before online submission of application form.
II. Candidates born before 31st December 1993 and after 1st January 2005 are not eligible to apply.
III. Change of stream from one program to another, upgradation from self-financed open merit reserved category and refund of fee after cancellation of end admission shall be considered as per rules of closing date of admission (last counselling).
